Step-by-step export guides for every major platform. Export your pricebook and customer list, upload the CSV to QuotePaid, and you're done.
Follow the guide below for your platform. Download your pricebook and customer list as CSV.
Go to Settings > Import. Drag and drop your CSV. We auto-detect your columns.
Your pricebook and customers are loaded. Build your first quote right away.
These steps reflect each platform's current UI. If something looks different, check the help center link at the bottom of each guide for the latest instructions.
Free/Basic plans may not include export. Materials and labor export separately.
Official Housecall Prohelp center →Export only available on Connect and Grow plans. Large lists may be emailed as a download link.
Official Jobberhelp center →You need Admin access to export. Large datasets get queued and emailed. Services, materials, and equipment are separate exports.
Official ServiceTitanhelp center →QuickBooks exports XLSX, not CSV. Open in Excel or Google Sheets and save as CSV. The export includes inactive items by default.
Official QuickBooks Onlinehelp center →Joist does not offer pricebook or customer export. You can enter your data manually in QuotePaid, or start fresh with our pre-loaded pricebook.
QuotePaid's importer auto-detects most column formats. But if you want to build a CSV from scratch or clean up your export, here's what we look for:
| Column | Required | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Name | 50-Gal Gas Water Heater | |
| Description | Optional | Bradford White 40 MBH, atmospheric vent |
| Category | Optional | Equipment |
| Unit Price | 1100.00 | |
| Unit | Optional | each, hour, linear_ft, sqft, flat |
| Trade | Optional | plumbing, hvac, electrical |
| Urgency | Optional | red, yellow, green |
Column names are flexible. "Price," "Unit Price," "Cost," and "Amount" all work. Same for "Item Name" vs "Name" vs "Description."
